Error message "No suitable screen could be found for the defined projector"
Dernière mise à jour il y a 5 ans

This error message indicates that IScan3D could either not find the projector, or that it is not running at the required resolution.

Check that the projector is detected and running at the right resolution

On the windows desktop, click right and choose "Display Settings" in the popup menu. The dialog should present a "Select and rearrange displays" with at least two screens: your main monitor (or more if you are running a multi-head setup), and a small screen for the projector:

Click on the small screen and scroll down to the "Scale and layout" section. Check that the resolution is set to the size mentioned in the error message (expected screen size of W x H), which is one of the following:

  • 608x684 for L series scanners and late D series with LightCrafter projector
  • 1280x720 for D series scanners with Optoma projector
  • 800x600 for D series scanners with Samsung projector

The projector is not visible in Display Settings

The projector is not detected by the graphics card and cannot be seen in Display Settings or the Device Manager. Please check the following items:

  • the scanner is turned on and that the projector works
  • the scanner's HDMI cable is plugged directly to the graphics card
  • if using an adapter, try connecting directly to the graphics card (use the adapter for the monitor).
  • If your video card does not have HDMI ports (e.g. nVidia Quadros), try using another adapter

If any of the above fails and if your CPU is not an Intel Xeon, try connecting the scanner's HDMI cable to the motherboard instead of the graphics card.
