Frequently Asked Question
This is a known issue with the latest Windows versions ; it is due to a change in the graphics architecture. By default it tries to use "Fullscreen optimizations" that can delay the slide projection and cause the scan to fail. However, if the user moves the mouse cursor in IScan3D Dental, or if a TeamViewer session is active, it forces Windows to repaint the projector window.
The issue shows up in the log files as a wildly varying show time interval and latency in the slide video reports :

The following procedure corrects the issue for all users :
- Right click on IScan3D Dental, select "Properties"
- Go to the "Compatibility" tab and click "Change settings for all users" (If the user cannot have admin rights, they can skip this step but the fix will only be active for their account)
- Check "Disable fullscreen optimizations" and click OK on both dialog boxes.
- The user should now be able to scan normally.
